Getting Started with Medicaid Data Training Course
This course provides the technical guidance for approaching Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, and payment data complexities and provides a framework to create customized, analytic data files. The primary course objectives address Medicaid eligibility and enrollment, state variations in Medicaid programs, Medicaid fee-for-service, managed care, waiver payments, and approaches to analyzing CCW Medicaid Analytic eXtract (MAX) and Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS) Analytic Files (TAF) data. In addition to narrative technical information, the course shares and discusses examples of SAS code.
